How to Upgrade Your Plan

Upgrading your Ostrich plan takes two minutes and you only pay for the difference between your current tier and the new one. Upgrades apply immediately — no waiting for a renewal date.

Upgrading from Free to Growth or Pro

Free vendor accounts have access to claim a listing and manage basic profile information, but cannot respond to reviews or view analytics. To unlock full vendor features, upgrade from your dashboard. Navigate to Settings → Subscription and select your new tier. For upgrades, you'll see the prorated charge due today — this covers only the remaining days in your current billing cycle at the new plan's rate. Once the current cycle ends, you'll be billed at the full Growth or Pro price on your regular schedule.

Prorated charges explained

If you're 15 days into a 30-day monthly billing cycle on Starter ($299/mo) and upgrade to Growth ($599/mo), you'll be charged approximately $150 today (half the difference between the plans). This credit applies to your upcoming Growth bill. The upgrade is permanent until you downgrade.

Buyer plan upgrades

Buyers on free tier can upgrade to paid tiers to remove give-to-get requirements and unlock unlimited review access. The same prorated pricing applies. Upgrade from your dashboard under Account → Billing.
