For Vendors
PM profile views are a vendor-exclusive metric that shows how many product managers — specifically — have viewed your listing in a given period. PMs are one of the highest-signal buyer roles on Ostrich because they're frequently the economic buyer or primary champion for software decisions. Tracking PM views gives you a leading indicator of pipeline before a formal evaluation begins.
A view is counted once per unique authenticated session per 24-hour window. Anonymous views are not included. Ostrich requires authentication to browse full vendor profiles, so PM view counts are based on verified professional identities — not estimated from browser cookies.
PM views are broken down in your analytics panel by time period (7-day, 30-day, 90-day), by buyer company size tier (1–50, 51–200, 201–1000, 1000+), and by region. A spike in PM views from mid-market companies in a specific region, for example, often signals that a relevant community thread or analyst mention drove traffic. Cross-reference the timing with community activity at /community to identify the source.
